1917

This movie has to be seen only for the two long takes! Undoubtedly the best cinematography experience ever. The entire movie is taken as if one one shot (from the experience of the actor) but one can make out the break in between. That's ok because narration had to move from evening to night. Tale itself is simple but everything is in the film-making. The setting is superb especially with the dead bodies and rats going in and out. Reminded me of Behind Enemy Line and No Man's Land. I wonder how each actor had memorized the script and how well each person acted at his allotted time & place - even though it is a movie, it is made so realistically.

Rating: Good
