The Theory of Everything

Never knew about what Stephen Hawking went through until I saw this movie. The only thing that I knew was that he was wheel chair ridden with magically voice coming out of his machine-of-sorts! This movie concentrates more on his personal life than his genius, which is ok. Even the genius part too is covered - how can it not - but not in whole lot detail, which makes sense because the general public will not be on the wavelength to understand anyways! Acting is superb - very difficult owing to the disability. Rest of the crew has done a great job too. Definitely worth the watch - for Hawking's sake!

Ammachi Yemba Nenapu

Well, ok-dokey movie. Watchable only to see the customs followed in the Kundapur area of Karnataka with a different Kannada dialect. Set in a remote village, the movie is a tale of three women intertwined within the vicinity of the area in which they live. Suffice it to say that it is not an entertainer. The acting is great by one and all, especially the old one. Dialog is fine, screenplay is average, nothing much to write about cinematography - he tries to make do when there are songs. Almost like Thithi. Ending was like an anti-climax, and we were like 'That's it?!'
